Where Will DocEng Go Next?

Help shape the future of the DocEng community by hosting a future edition of the conference.

The DocEng Steering Committee invites expressions of interest from institutions and research communities interested in hosting a future edition of the ACM Symposium on Document Engineering.

DocEng is an ACM conference supported by SIGWEB, bringing together researchers and practitioners working across document engineering and adjacent areas. The conference typically attracts around 50–60 participants and is organised as a single-track event, with three days of the main conference programme and an additional day dedicated to tutorials.

DocEng is normally held at the end of August or beginning of September. Institutions interested in hosting DocEng 2028 or a subsequent edition are invited to submit an initial expression of interest outlining the proposed host institution and location, prospective General Chair(s) and local organising team, tentative dates, and possible venue.

Expressions of interest and enquiries should be sent to doceng-steering-chair@doceng.org.
